This buffalo hunt exceeded my expectations. My good friend, Cam Cope, who previously killed a giant buffalo with you, highly recommended that I book this hunt. He agreed to accompany me. What a great adventure. We were fortunate to find this “brut”, and began tracking him and to get an arrow, early on, into his left lung with the initial shot. Then the adventure really heated up as we “tracked” this buffalo for well over two hours, putting another five arrows in him before he finally went down. Obviously, we had a great blood trail and were never really faced with a problem of losing him. However, it wasn’t until my fifth arrow penetrated his right lung that we knew we finally had him. A real monster- well over 2,000 lbs. It doesn’t get any better than this. Looking forward to future hunts at Buffalo Mountain Ranch. Richard Chappuis

I want to Thank Rick and Larry for helping me find my bull. They had spotted him earlier and when we went back he was still in the same spot. The stalk was on, he walked out at 32 yards and I slipped around an oak to shoot. The shot was forward a little so the chase was on. About 300 yards later we found him. Thanks Again! Shawn Robinson

I came to Buffalo Mountain Hunts hoping for an exciting hunt. What I found was nice accommodations, lots of game, including deer, elk, turkey, hogs and of course, buffalo.
Hunting from a pre-hung stand on the 2nd evening at sunset this old guy came cruising by. After a few tense moments he gave me the angle I wanted and the rest is history. I had a great time, Rick and Tammy, and I’m looking forward to next year. Terry Andrews
