I just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time on our Bison hunt. The accommodations were more than adequate, the animals beautiful, and the experience amazing. It was a fantastic event from start to finish and everybody we dealt with was very personable, pleasant, and knowledgeable. The animals were first rate, and the trophy bull taken on our trip was nothing less than marvelous. The taxidermy shop informed us that the trophy was one of the largest bison they had ever received and that the horns on both animals were some of the largest that had been brought to their shop in a LONG time. The hides were in great shape when we brought the hides to them and now it’s just a waiting game until the hides will be finished as rugs. Like advertised, the bison meat is fabulous. Even though they were older bulls, the meat was still very lean and clean tasting. I didn’t taste any “gameness” flavor in the hamburger at all and was very grateful for that. Overall, I now feel like the entire “bison experience” is a truly unique experience that everybody should take part in at least once in their lifetime. We are very excited about your upcoming 2007 deer season and hope to setup some dates as soon as possible. If deer hunting on your ranch is anything like the time spent hunting bison, I’m sure we will not be disappointed. Thanks again for a great hunt!
