This big cat had been seen several times but never presented a shot for anyone, always disappearing quickly. On this day, however, he showed himself, saw me and immediately headed for cover, but for some reason he paused, allowing me just enough time to raise my 243 left handed (I’m right handed), get the crosshairs on him and squeeze off a shot. He dropped instantly and I had a 32 lb Bobcat ready for the taxidermist. Rick Worley 3-13-08

Shooting this buffalo will be forever memorable. We used my father’s 30.-06 rifle. He fired it last 44 years ago (1964) on a deer hunt when I was 6 years old. He used a similar rifle, a M-1, in the Pacific in WWII. He passed away last summer. I placed 3 shots in the chest and my son, Steven, fired the last shot directly through the heart. He took this photo to school and I to work. We are going to do a shoulder mount and every time we see this trophy we will recall these memories and this time together. Tomorrow, I will pick up 500lbs of meat to share with friends and family. Buck Lively 3-8-08

Rick, Thanks for a great hunt. I really enjoyed my time on the ranch. And thanks for going the extra mile for us to have a great hunt. Alex

A good hunt with good people. The hunt wasn’t very long because of the knowledge of Rick about the ranch and animals. A great experience. Marvin Patterson
