It was 12-21-2009 the last evening of my 3 day hunt. I slipped in my ground blind were I had seen two shooters the day before. The first deer came in about 5:30 a spike and a 4pt. They fed on the corn at the feeder for a few minutes when I noticed a good buck walking out of the cedars about 75yds away. He looked around checking the area and headed straight to the feeder. As he started to feed on the corn I waited for him to turn broadside. I ranged him at 36yds drew my bow picked a spot and torched one off. My arrow found its mark – both lungs. He turned and ran back where he came from I heard him crash just off the field. After about 5 minutes I went to find my arrow. The blood covered arrow was lying in a cactus patch. Shortly after, I found my buck about 10yds off the field. So Rick, Tammy, Yerger, and Mr. Ledbetter – thank you for a hunt of a lifetime. I will be back – Looking for a bigger one next time. Rick and Tammy,

Just wanted to tell you guys that my whole family and I had a blast!  I cant wait to book our next trip.  Thank you so much for everything you did for us there, I think I may have gained a couple pounds from the great food.  Also, I love the emails I keep getting with the pics… Please keep sending them, I have watched all of Rick`s videos a 1,000 times.
Thanks again, Chris

Rick and Tammy, I want to thank you all so much for the wonderful hospitality that was shown throughout my Dads and my 2 day hunt. I personally want to thank Rick for his expert knowledge in knowing the ranch. He personally told Me and 3 other hunters that someone should hunt the #6 flats, and after they choose their locations I went to 6 flats and with a perfect stand location “COTTON” came out and offered me a broadside 22 yd shot. I put the RAGE right where it needed to go. I thank you so much for the lifetime memory that was provided and we will definitely be back next year. And thanks to Tammy for the food and the excitement that was shown after my deer was shot. Darrin Wright

Everything was as great as we could have asked for on a hunting trip. Each one of us saw deer and one member of our group (Elton) shot a buck. The ranch is beautiful and filled with wildlife which I thought was the best part of the whole deal. With the ranch being bow only; it seems to have wildlife everywhere. I loved the place and hope to see you again soon. You guys were great. Rick seems to have it all together with a great partner (Tammy) who can cook great! Thank you again for your hospitality. I appreciate the hospitality Rick and Tammy provide to the hunters at Buffalo Mountain Ranch. Man, for the quality and quantity of animals that are there, the price is unbeatable. My brother in law and I had a great time on the ranch for our weekend stay. Getting the opportunity to meet Mr. Ledbetter and learning a little history of the ranch was a bonus. My hunts were great. There was never a dull moment in the stand. I bet I saw more deer in two days than I get to see hunting around Abilene. It was perfect timing in the middle of the rut which really helped make them move. I started off hunting a ground blind on the south side of my plot which was great for the north wind. Lots of deer poured into my spot that first night and next day. I was pumped. I knew it was only a matter of time before that big boy showed his face. The wind had changed on us, which meant I had to also, and thanks to Rick testing my tripod and cutting some branches on such short notice made my position perfect. And there he was …a nice 4 year old buck with my name on him. As I came to draw with my Tomcat by Bow Tech, I waited and waited forever until he stopped at 38 yards. I let it rip and in the explosion of deer going everywhere, I knew I got him. The expandable sniper broad head did its job. He did not make it 50 yards when he crashed. What a great hunt. I will be back soon. Thank you for a great time. What a great ranch! Elton Zuyus
