We had been hunting on Buffalo Mountain Hunts for a couple of days and had seen does and a couple of small bucks. On the third evening of my hunt my buck and doe made their way to my stand. As he was behind some brush, I moved into position and waited and waited. He must have fed there for twenty minutes. But as he turned to leave, he entered my shooting lane which I had previously ranged at 35 yards. I came to full draw and settled my pin low to compensate for the downward angle of the shot and aimed for the off shoulder and let it fly. I watched as my tracer lighted arrow arched and passed through his chest cavity exiting his off shoulder. I sat back to take in the experience and to keep from falling off my ladder stand. To say I was excited is an understatement! Thank you Rick and Tammy for providing a great hunting experience! Timothy Letkeman 10-10-09
