Whitetail Hunt – Animals Included:
ONE MATURE BUCK: Meeting one of the following requirements…
- 8 or more points and a 14 inch minimum inside spread
- A score of 115 inches gross (with any number of points)
ONE MATURE DOE
PIGS and VARMINTS (no limit – daytime only)
Archery Only -(no crossbows allowed)
Main Entrance Gate to Ranch:
You will receive the new lock combination. Please close and lock the gate behind you. Stay left on the pavement to the “Camp” area. (On the Left; tan and green buildings with a fence and gate) ‘Bunkhouse’ (sleeping area) 2nd building on your Right /‘Kitchen’ 2nd building on your Left.
Orientation upon arrival:
You will be greeted at the camp and receive information regarding hunting, lodging & camp, and the ranch in general. You will receive a ranch map, a release and rules form to read and sign, and you will fill out a hunting equipment form. You will have the opportunity, at this time, to write your name on your arrows.
Hunting Area:
The ranch has over 4,400 acres and is divided into 12 fenced pastures with no gates to open or close.
Stands: Tripods, Tents and Ground Blinds:
There are numerous stands located on the over 30 feeders, food plots, and travel areas. We add new stands and plots each year. Hunters are welcome to use them. Most blinds have chairs…but you are responsible for your own hunting chair.
Lodging and meals Included:
Our camp is friendly, warm and dry. The ‘Bunkhouse’ has barracks style lodging with two twin beds per room and a communal bathroom. There are practice targets set up for shooting both field tips and broad heads.(Be sure you shoot the proper tip at the proper target.)
Hunters Must Provide:
Valid Texas Hunting License

Hunting chair
Drinks (There are 2 country stores within 4 miles of the ranch with food grill service)
Check List -What to bring on your hunt:
1. Valid Texas Hunting License
2. Hunting Chair (most of the blinds have chairs, but we want you to be comfortable so bring your favorite chair)
3. Chair Pad/Cushion (you will sit for a while, in the cold, be comfortable)
4. Range Finder and an extra battery
5. Flash light and or head light for getting to and from your stand (with extra batteries)
6. Flash light for tracking (with extra batteries)
7. Arrows with Field Tips (for practice on the camp target)(Broad head target available for broad heads)
8. Video Camera and Accessories (for fun)
9. Battery operated alarm clock
10. Towel
11. Drinks
Booking and Payment Information:
Deer Hunts are booked by calling Chad Davis 325-846-4800 or 325-669-0592. Hunters will be booked over 4,400 acres to provide plenty of hunting area. Hunters will check in by noon for an orientation and to pay remaining fees. Hunters will check out by noon on the last half day of their hunt.
