Buffalo Mountain Ranch is Rio Grande Turkey Paradise. The ranch is over 4,400 acres with thousands of Oak and Elm trees lining the deep creek beds and huge Live Oaks scattered across the rolling flats. Corn feeders, protein pellets, and wheat fields provide year round food sources.

Low hunting pressure and predator control efforts further enhance their environment.
It is no wonder why hundreds of turkeys call Buffalo Mountain Ranch home.

Large groups are seen spread throughout the ranch.

Our spring turkey hunts provide a great opportunity for a “boss tom” at a reasonable price.

Our friends from S&P Video, from West Virginia, have been coming for several years and always get great birds on film. Kevin Pyles and his crew called up over 80 gobblers on a three day hunt in March, 2008. Our success rate in 2008 and 2009 was 100% with over 20 big gobblers taken each year.

There are numerous stands located on the over 30 feeders, food plots, and travel areas. We have several tents set up and cedar ground blinds for you to use.

Any legal weapon (bow, crossbow, shotgun, muzzle loader or rifle) can be used during spring hunts.
Fall hunts for turkey are archery only in conjunction with whitetail season.

Bring your calls, camo, and decoys…we’ll provide the lodging, meals and the birds.
